Young people are using e-cigarettes at an alarming rate - and there are
currently no federal laws to keep e-cigarettes out of the hands of our children.
That’s why earlier this week, I joined with my friend, Rep. Rosa
DeLauro, to introduce the
Stop Tobacco Sales to Youth Act.
Sign this petition right now and urge Congress to pass this bill to keep
our children safe.
I've been pushing to stop e-cigarette flavors and advertisements aimed
directly at our kids and for child safety packaging to be required on
these nicotine-delivery devices. We know that nicotine is a highly addictive
drug, and kids should simply not be able to buy it over the internet.
Our bill would close this loophole in our laws, but Congress needs to act.
