NYC Rules Updates ~ Friday, September 21, 2012

The following NYC Rules update includes: (1) all City agency proposed rules posted to NYC Rules that remain open for written public comment, (2) adopted rules that took effect during the previous week, (3) adopted rules soon taking effect, and (4) agency regulatory agendas for fiscal year 2013 posted to the NYC Rules website.

Proposed Rules Open for Written Public Comment

Amendment of Rules Governing Filing Representatives (DOB) - Written comments must be submitted by Thursday, October 4.

** Upper West Side Special Enhanced Commercial District Certification Rules (DCP) - Written comments must be submitted by Wednesday, October 10.

** Certificates of Conduct (NYPD) - Written comments must be submitted by Wednesday, October 17.

*** Adopt-a-Highway Program Rules (DOT) - Written comments must be submitted by Friday, October 19.

Adopted Rules That Took Effect During the Previous Week

No Adopted Rules took effect during the previous week. Adopted Rules Soon Taking Effect

Lease Rates for Taxicabs(TLC) - Rule takes effect Sunday, September 30.

Apartment/Loft Guidelines Order No. 44 and Hotel Guidelines Order No. 42 (RGB) - Rule takes effect Monday, October 1.

Energy Audits and Retrocommissioning (DOB) - Rule takes effect Saturday, October 13.

ECB's Fire Penalty Schedule (OATH/ECB) - Rule takes effect Saturday, October 13.
