This position is ideal for an expert Emergency Management practitioner looking for an opportunity to shape FEMA regional catastrophic plans by collecting and analyzing information from a variety of sources; developing standardized reports, summaries and briefings; and closely coordinating with other agency operations centers and program offices. This position starts at a salary of $87,292 (GS-13). Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with physically austere and operationally challenging conditions. Relocation expenses are not authorized for this position.
