FDA's Center for Tobacco Products Research Program Public Workshop: Expanding the Research Base for Tobacco Product Regulation

WHAT: The purpose of the public workshop is to discuss FDA's Center for Tobacco Products' (CTP) research priorities across a broad array of disciplines; increase awareness of barriers and challenges to conducting tobacco product regulatory research; discuss how federal agencies can coordinate tobacco product research; identify how non-government organizations can contribute to advancing tobacco product research

WHEN: February 29, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET

WHO: Scientific and medical experts and other interested stakeholders from academia, public health organizations, government and other organizations interested in advancing regulatory science.

WHERE: The public workshop will be held at Center for Tobacco Products, 9200 Corporate Blvd, Rockville, MD 20850, Room 020B. Due to limited space, the workshop will be available live, via webcast. More information on how to access the webcast will be available at a later date.

Because of limited space, preregistration is required.  More information will be posted on CTP's website .
