Details: Queens Borough President Helen Marshall and the Council for Airport Opportunity will hold a job fair on Friday, June 19th for prospective employees to meet employers from LaGuardia and JFK airports.
Visitors should come equipped with a valid photo ID and be at least 18 years old.
Job candidates are being recruited for: aircraft mechanic, ramp service agent, aircraft cleaner, customer service agent, ticket agent, passenger service agent, flight attendant, freight agent driver, food service worker, baggage handler, pre-board screener, reservation agent, security guard and warehouse worker.
FAA job requirements include: ten-year background check, an original Social Security card and, if not a citizen of the U.S., a permanent resident card or valid work authorization card.
