SILI FACTORY PULL STRING TEETHING TOYS RECALLED
Another day, another teething toy that apparently skipped Toy Safety 101. The Sili Factory pull‑string teething toys have been yanked off the market after it turned out their silicone strings are smaller and longer than permitted — long enough to reach the back of a child’s throat and lodge there. Because nothing says “infant enrichment” like a surprise airway obstruction.
These toys feature a pink disc, a pink center ball, five multicolored tentacle‑style strings, and seven soft push buttons. Cute, until you realize it’s basically a tiny octopus auditioning for a medical emergency.
About 5,918 units are affected. If you own one, stop using it immediately, remove it from your child’s reach, and contact Aojieni Silicone for a refund. You’ll be asked to destroy the toy by cutting all silicone strings, writing “RECALLED” on the main body, and sending a photo to info@silifactory.com.
Because if a teething toy needs a crime‑scene‑style destruction ritual, it probably shouldn’t have been in your nursery to begin with.
