CURRY & COMPANY RECALLS ELECTRA CHANDELIERS OVER IMPACT INJURY HAZARD
Currey & Company has announced a recall of its Electra Chandelier (Model No. 9000-1234) and Electra Three Tier Chandelier (Model No. 9000-1235) after determining that the ceiling‑mount connection component was not properly threaded. As a result, the fixture can detach and fall without warning, creating a significant impact injury hazard.
Approximately 260 units are affected. The recalled fixtures, made of glass, iron, and brass, weigh between 51 and 131 pounds. They were sold nationwide through Currey & Company showrooms, lighting retailers, and online from May 2024 through September 2025, with prices ranging from $3,000 to $10,000.
Consumers should stop using the chandeliers immediately and contact Currey & Company for a free in‑home repair kit. The company will cover or reimburse all professional installation costs associated with the repair.
The firm has received two reports of fixtures falling, including one incident involving property damage. No injuries have been reported.
Consumers can reach Currey & Company toll‑free at 800‑899‑7047, email recall@curreyco.com, or visit curreyandcompany.com and click on “Recall” for more information.
Because lighting should set the mood — not reenact a disaster‑movie trailer.
