If you picked up the Cobelae Busy Book for Toddlers, congratulations: you accidentally bought a choking hazard disguised as early‑learning enrichment.
These books — model 2025‑Q3‑0702, the ones with the cheerful giraffe on the cover — feature a cute apple page with beads that apparently decided they’d rather be free agents. And when beads go rogue, they become small parts. And when small parts detach, they become a choking hazard. And when a toddler meets a loose bead… well, you get the picture.
Why the recall: The books violate the federal small parts ban. The beads can loosen, detach, and pose a risk of serious injury or death. (Yes, death. From a “busy book.” We’re all doing great.)
What to do: Stop using it immediately. Grab a permanent marker and write “RECALLED” across the front. Toss it in the trash. Send a photo of the disposed book to cobelaeservice@outlook.com for your free replacement.
Units affected: About 3,500.
Sold: Amazon, October–November 2025, for about $26.
Retailer: Flyindream, of China. Incidents: None reported — and let’s keep it that way.
Because nothing says “learning through play” like making sure the toys don’t try to assassinate your toddler.
