If you picked up those adorable one‑piece footed sleepers from Meijer—MCS or Lullaby Lane, sizes 12, 18, or 24 months—it’s time to hit pause on the cuteness. More than 211,000 of these pint‑size PJs have been recalled because they fail the mandatory flammability standard for children’s sleepwear.
Translation: they’re way too good at catching fire.
And toddlers are already chaotic enough without adding “unexpected ignition source” to the mix.
What’s affected:
Ten different styles, dozens of patterns—Hearts, XOXO, Lucky Shamrock, Bunny, Airplanes, Dinos, Penguins, Gingerbread, Cupids Bows, Shamrocks… basically the entire baby‑wardrobe‑starter‑pack. If it’s footed, cute, and says MCS or Lullaby Lane, check the sewn‑in side‑seam label for those style numbers.
The hazard:
A burn risk. No injuries reported, thankfully—but the standard exists for a reason.
What to do:
Stop using the sleepwear immediately.
March it back to any Meijer store.
Get a full refund.
Sleep easier.
These were sold across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Kentucky from December 2024 through October 2025 for $5–$12. Imported from Thailand by Meijer Distribution, Inc.
If you need more info, Meijer’s got a recall page ready to go.
Because nothing says “sweet dreams” like sleepwear that doesn’t double as a fire starter.
