TOMORROW, SCOTT BATEMAN IS DROPPING 5002 NEW ALIENS ON PLANET EARTH!

5002 Space Aliens by Scott Bateman lands on your favorite streaming platforms beginning Monday, August 10, 2026!

The highly anticipated experimental animated feature will be available on Amazon, Apple, and Google/YouTube.

About the Film

Written, directed, animated, edited, and scored by Scott Bateman (with producing support from Lucas A. Ferrara), 5002 Space Aliens is the wild sequel to the 2021 cult hit 5000 Space Aliens.

This non-narrative, dialogue-free experience presents the “only known footage” of 5,002 space aliens currently on Earth—each revealed in a single, hypnotic one-second shot. Created through digital rotoscope animation of manipulated found footage, vintage photographs, and other source materials, the roughly 87-minute film delivers a surreal, mesmerizing, and hilariously unhinged visual ride set to Bateman’s original score. Runtime is approximately 85–87 minutes; (Not Rated).

Viewers are advised (with tongue firmly in cheek) to don anti-alien glasses.
