YOUR VAPE SHOULDN'T NEED A FIRE EXTINGUISHER

7111495 Canada Inc., doing business as Arizer Tech, has issued a voluntary recall of its Arizer Solo II portable electronic vaporizers due to a serious safety hazard. The internal lithium-ion battery in affected units may overheat, emit smoke, or even eject material, posing a fire and burn risk to users.

If you own a Solo II vaporizer, stop using it immediately and check the serial number etched on the bottom of the device. Units starting with “M2” are part of the recall. These vaporizers were sold between June 2024 and July 2025 in the U.S. and Canada, both online and in specialty stores, for around $170.

Affected customers will receive a free Solo II MAX replacement and a special wax to safely disable the recalled unit. Once disabled, the device must be disposed of at a hazardous waste or battery recycling facility. Do not toss it in the trash or curbside recycling—these batteries require special handling due to their fire risk.

To begin the replacement process, visit arizer.com/solo-ii-voluntary-recall-submission-form or call 888-291-0521 (Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. ET). You can also email recall@arizer.com for assistance.

So far, there have been nine reports of overheating, smoke, or ejected material, but thankfully no injuries.

Solo II: The hottest thing in your pocket—literally.
