Persilux has announced a voluntary recall of approximately 133,000 zebra blinds sold on Amazon between June 2023 and June 2025. The blinds, manufactured in China by Zhejiang Xidamen New Material Co. Ltd., were marketed under the Persilux brand and pose a serious safety risk to children due to long operating cords that can lead to strangulation or entanglement. These hazards violate federal safety regulations for window coverings, including labeling requirements.
The blinds were available in beige, black, dark gray, light gray, and white, and came in sizes ranging from 22 to 73 inches wide and 64 to 72 inches high. Packaging is labeled with “Persilux” and “Zebra Blinds,” and the barcode includes the identifier “X003FFPT63.”
No injuries have been reported, but consumers are urged to stop using the blinds immediately. Persilux is offering a free repair kit that includes a replacement cord wand and installation instructions. To receive the kit, consumers must remove the blind, cut and discard the operating cord, and submit a photo of the modified blind to recall@persiluxhome.com.

Bet Persilux wishes it could untangle itself from that ....
