Immediate Recall of Bmrwtg LED Tutu Skirts
Bmrwtg has issued an urgent recall of approximately 740 children’s LED tutu skirts sold on Amazon due to a serious safety hazard. These skirts, marketed for children ages 2 through 8, contain LED lights powered by two CR2032 lithium coin batteries housed in a compartment that can be easily accessed by young children. The product fails to meet the mandatory federal safety standard for consumer goods containing button cell or coin batteries and lacks the required warnings under Reese’s Law.
When swallowed, coin batteries pose a grave risk of internal chemical burns, serious injury, and even death. In light of this danger, consumers are instructed to immediately discontinue use of the skirts, remove and safely dispose of the batteries, and destroy the product. To receive a full refund, consumers must cut the skirt and submit a photo of the destroyed item in the trash to Bmrwtg via email at bmrwtgrecall@outlook.com.
The recalled skirts were available in pink, purple, yellow, red, blue, green, white, and black, and featured silver circles and stars that light up. The recall was announced on October 9, 2025.
If you purchased this product, please take immediate action to protect your kids from potential harm.
Now that's just tutu fabulous.
