LET GO OF THESE E-Z-GO CARTS

Textron E-Z-GO has announced a recall of nearly 100,000 personal transportation vehicles—commonly known as golf carts—due to a serious safety concern. The affected models include the RXV Freedom, TXT Freedom, and Valor PTVs manufactured between 2020 and 2025. These vehicles may leak fuel at the quick-connect fitting between the fuel line and the fuel injector, creating a risk of fire and potential injury.

Although no incidents have been reported, consumers are urged to stop using the recalled vehicles immediately. Textron E-Z-GO is offering free inspections and repairs through authorized dealers. If fuel leakage is detected, the fuel line will be replaced at no cost. Owners who are unable to bring their vehicles in for service should contact the company or a dealer for assistance.

The recall affects vehicles sold in the United States and Canada, with serial numbers ranging from 5538278 to 5920722 for RXV and newer Valor models, and 3455024 to 3582057 for TXT and earlier Valor models. Serial numbers can be found near the base of the steering column or beneath the operator seat, depending on the model and year.

These vehicles were sold through Textron dealerships and distributors nationwide between September 2019 and June 2025, with prices ranging from $8,400 to $14,000. Consumers seeking more information or wishing to schedule an inspection can contact Textron E-Z-GO toll-free at 888-438-3946, email ezgowarranty@textron.com, or visit the company’s website at ezgo.txtsv.com and navigate to the “Recall Information” section under the “Owners” tab.

Textron E-Z-GO encourages all owners of affected vehicles to act promptly to ensure their continued protection.
