Y'ALL GOTTA READ THIS RECALL

DIY FUELED A RECALLED

Astemrey’s Y’all Can DIY Liquid Bioethanol Fireplace Fuel Containers have been recalled.

Marketed as “No Soot, No Ash, Clean Burning,” these bottles skipped a critical safety step: they lack flame mitigation devices required under the Portable Fuel Container Safety Act. That oversight means they pose a serious risk of flash fire—turning DIY into D-I-Why did I buy this?

What’s affected:

  • Product: Y’all Can DIY Liquid Bioethanol Fireplace Fuel Containers
  • Size: 1000ml clear bottle with black top, white/black label, orange lettering
  • Units recalled: About 14,000
  • Sold: Amazon, April–July 2025
  • Price: ~$19 single pack, ~$31 three‑pack
  • Manufactured in Turkey, imported by Astemrey LLC (Casper, WY)

Hazard: Missing flame mitigation devices = flash fire risk.
Remedy: Replacement.
Recall Date: November 6, 2025.

What to do:

  • Stop using immediately.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Mark the container clearly with “DO NOT USE” and your Amazon order number.
  • Take a photo showing the markings and email it to contact@astemrey.com.
  • After verification, Astemrey will send a free replacement container.
  • Dispose of the original bottle properly—follow your local Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) program guidance. Never pour fuel down drains or toss it in household trash.

Contact Info:

  • Email: contact@astemrey.com

The bottom line:
This recall is about preventing a fiery fiasco. Y’all Can DIY fuel was supposed to light up your fireplace, not your living room. Safety first: mark it, snap it, send it, and swap it.

Y'all don't wanna diy... now do you?
