Recall Announcement: Lezyne Pumps Now Under Pressure
Lezyne USA is recalling about 7,500 Pressure Over Drive Bicycle Floor Pumps (plus 680 sold in Canada) because some of them are getting a little too pumped—literally.
What’s the issue?
If your pump has a bleed valve on the front of the base, it might be part of this recall. When pressurized, the canister can launch from the base like it’s trying out for a rocket league, posing a serious injury hazard to anyone nearby. Not exactly the kind of lift you want before a ride.
Affected Models:
- Lezyne Pressure Over Drive Bicycle Floor Pump (analog gauge)
- Lezyne Digital Pressure Over Drive Bicycle Floor Pump (digital gauge)
Remedy:
Lezyne will replace the affected pumps. Because when your gear starts launching parts like confetti, it’s time to deflate the situation.
