RECALL ALERT: BLUE WAVE ABOVE‑GROUND POOLS POSE DROWNING HAZARD
Blue Wave has issued a recall for its 48‑inch and taller above‑ground pools after discovering a serious safety flaw affecting about 13,400 units. The issue centers on the compression strap that wraps around the pool legs. That strap can act as an unintended foothold, giving a child the boost needed to climb into the pool — creating a dangerous and potentially deadly drowning risk.
The recall covers multiple models, including NB19790, NB19791, NB19797, NB19798, NB19890, NB19891, NB19900, NB19902, NB19904, NB19905, NB19906, NB19907, NB19908, NB19909, and NB19910.
Consumers are urged to stop using the affected pools immediately and contact Blue Wave for a free repair.

When a foothold becomes a hazard, it’s time to take action.
Stay safe, stay informed, and check your model before anyone goes near the water.
