From April 16 – 21, 2024, the 39th LOVERS FILM FESTIVAL will be held at Turin’s National Museum of Cinema — considered, by many, to be one of the most important cinema museums in the world.▫️
The event — which is principally funded by the City of Torino Council, the Government of the Piedmont region, and the Department for Cinema in the Ministry of Culture — is said to be the oldest LGBT-themed festival in Europe and the 3rd oldest in the world.

We’re honored to announce that TWOFOLD — a short written by Toto Bruin and directed by Ella Greenwood, a Forbes “30 Under 30” honoree — has been selected to compete at this year’s festivities.

In this film, as a New Year’s Eve celebration is underway, our protagonists have a chance encounter. But when they recognize each other from over a decade prior, fireworks ensue — with the story tackling such themes as love, deception, abuse of power, and lack of consent.
