Based out of Cincinnati, Ohio, the INDEPENDENT CREATORS EXPO CINEFEST celebrates “film, art, music, writing, & photography,” and confers awards in various categories, with its mission being to showcase “the best of independent creators.”
We’re honored to announce that CHILDREN OF THE PINES — a feature-length horror, written and directed by 21-year-old JOSHUA MORGAN (of Tampa, Florida) — recently scored a BEST FEATURE FILM win!
In this movie, we follow a dysfunctional family desperately searching for a way to correct the “sins” of the past. And amid that quest, they end up joining a “cult” … with not-so-angelic underpinnings.
