MICHAEL WEINER WILL SPEAK ABOUT “NAVIGATING LEGAL ISSUES”
Queens Borough President Donovan Richards and the Queens Chamber of Commerce are delighted to join with Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson and the Bronx Chamber of Commerce, as well as Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine, and the National Lesbian and Gay Chamber of Commerce – NY (NGLCC-NY), Sunnyside Shines Business Improvement District, TD Bank, Schneps Media/Gay City News, and the NY Women’s Chamber of Commerce, to host the third LGBTQ+ BUSINESS CONVENING event on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 9 AM until 1 PM, at LaGuardia Community College, 31-10 Thomson Ave, Building E, Long Island City (NY).
In addition to having representatives from 17 city and state agencies available to answer questions and provide guidance to business owners and entrepreneurs, a number of Chambers of Commerce, and other groups providing services to small business-people, will also be participating.
Six different panel sessions, on an array of topics, are being offered, with Newman Ferrara attorney Michael Weiner, (pictured right), scheduled to speak on “NAVIGATING LEGAL ISSUES: Employment Discrimination, Contracts and Intellectual Property.” (That meeting is scheduled from 10:00-10:50 AM.)
