PLEADED GUILTY TO TWO DOG-FIGHTING RELATED COUNTS
Back in 2019, M. Valentine was investigated for dog-fighting offenses after a kid living with him was attacked by a dog. At that time, some 40 animals were seized, together with “dog fighting paraphernalia,” such as “treadmills, veterinary supplies, and dog fighting videos.”
Several years later, on March 8, 2022, as part of a fentanyl-distribution investigation, Valentine’s home was against searched, and in addition to two assault-style rifles, 11 dogs were found nearby (and were purportedly kept for dog fighting).
Early last month, on May 4, 2023, the United States Department of Justice announced that Valentin had pleaded guilty to “two counts of raising and training dogs for the purpose of dog fighting.”
Valentine couldn’t have loved that.
