Weiner Buys Monitor’s Rest
In 2001, Russell Weiner founded Rockstar Energy Drink amidst considerable adversity. After evey potential investor turned down his beverage idea, Weiner was forced to take out a mortgage on his condo to self-finance his energy drink. Since the company’s inception, its products have reached over 30 countries and, in 2020, was sold to Pepsico for $3,850,000,000. While Weiner had an interest in Florida real estate prior to Rockstar, his focus is now on Utah, where he recently purchased “Monitor’s Rest,” a Park City ski home for $39,600,000.
Monitor’s Rest is located on five ski-in, ski-out acres and offers a mansion over 17,000 square feet in size. The building offers seven en-suite bedrooms with their own terrace and firepit, three additional bathrooms, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a private spa, Himalayan salt room, an indoor climbing wall, a bowling alley, a movie theater, and a golf simulator. The kitchen includes a stone pizza oven and high-end water and air filtration, plus the lighting is automatically adjusted to the natural solar cycle. Constructed from Shou Sugi Ban charred cypress with a copper roof, Italian-steel windows and doors, and Croatian limestone, this high-alpine property affords stunning views of Monitor Bowl and the Wasatch Mountains from the 360-degree panorama tower.
While certainly a bit pricey for most, Monitor’s Rest will provide Weiner with every conceivable luxury that a Rockstar’s rockstar could ever want.
