Friends were flying in from out-of-town and they asked me to come up with something “fun and different” for them to do.▫️
After wracking my brains out, I remembered there’s a place called THE WRECK BAR – which is at the base of the B Ocean Resort, at 1140 Seabreeze Boulevard, in Fort Lauderdale. [For you movie buffs out there, this location was featured in the 1999 motion picture, Analyze This, which starred Robert De Niro and Billy Crystal.]

That's where you'll also find a show called the “MeduSirena AquaBurlesque Dinner and SwimShow.” And the hotel’s advertising suggests that this is to place to head to, if you’re “looking to add a unique sizzle to your late-night schedule.”

While the ticket price is $60 (per person), that includes a generous $35 (per person) credit for all food and beverages ordered. (And even though tax and gratuity were not included, we still thought that it wasn’t a bad deal, at all.) And, as you can see from the accompanying video, everyone was having a great time.

I’m told the ladies are only available on Fridays and Saturdays, while “mermen” perform on Thursdays. (This is supposedly the last underwater male burlesque – or “boylesque” -- show left in the entire United States.)
