Whether you want to admit it or not, elevators are a crucial part of our daily lives, particularly if you work in an office building or live in a residential tower.▫️
According to publicly available stats, there are some 900,000 of these contraptions in the U.S., and over 15.3 million of them worldwide. Otis, one of America’s biggest elevator companies, claims to carry the equivalent to the world's population every five days. That’s akin to lifting every human being 73 times a year.

Of course, since mechanical breakdowns and other glitches do occur, getting trapped in one of those boxes is an inevitable reality.

STUCK — a new film written and directed by Vanessa Bailey — examines how some chance encounters in a malfunctioning lift end up changing the course of people’s lives … in an interesting way, of course. While this “romantic-comedy” completed shooting in early January, and is currently undergoing a rigorous post-production process, Vanessa was kind enough to send me this behind-the-scenes clip to share with you.
