Ready to be moved?
My friends at Happy Wanderer Productions have just released the trailer of a stirring new film — written by Adrian Burks and Theodore Wright IV — which is currently competing in festivals across the globe.
In “After Laughter,” we witness the struggles of two boys, Malik and Jamal, as they deal not only with a dysfunctional family dynamic, but the injustices and prejudices that were pervasive throughout the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, here in the United States. Will these young men persevere, or will they become victims of the harsh reality in which they live?
Unfortunately, I’m not at liberty to share any additional details with you. (You’ll have to wait until the film is officially released to find out more.) But in the interim, here’s a sneak peek into the world “After Laughter.”
