President Trump recently signed a bill letting your internet service provider sell your private information without your permission.
Your private browsing data should be just that – private. If your family is anything like mine, you depend on the internet for a lot – from scheduling doctor’s appointments to helping the kids finish that school project. Now all that information could be sold to the highest bidder. That is why it’s so critical that we speak out against the GOP’s decision to roll back important protections for internet privacy.
This bill doesn’t do anything to benefit everyday people, but it will let giant corporations use your data to turn a profit. Republicans are putting corporate interests ahead of your privacy, and we can’t let them get away with it.
