You might not be surprised by the bad news: Government corruption is high, and New York and Pennsylvania were just found to be two of the most corrupt states. Over the last 35 years, New York state political officials have been convicted on federal charges of corruption 2,522 times.

Wherever you stand on the political spectrum, it’s clear that dirty back-room deals corrupt honest discourse. Whatever your politics, corruption results in government that does not work for voters.
Just last week, three Western NY political operatives were charged with illegally coordinating campaigns, with political committee members allegedly funnelling illegal money to candidates they favored. Candidates grow beholden to a small group’s desires, and not to the majority of voters.
The good news is that the fight is on. Trailblazers PAC moves politics out of the back room and onto thefront porch, by supporting candidates who act for honest government.Our Trailblazers need your support.
Across the political spectrum, regular people are throwing aside the pundit myth of hyper-partisan division. We see that pitting voters against each other, only serves corrupt interests. But when candidates’ financial backing comes from their constituents, special interest leverage fades, and our elected officials make decisions on the merits, and in the interest of their voters.
