After disparaging Obamacare for 7 years, Republicans finally came up with
a replacement plan.
Except now, they won’t let anyone see it. They’re guarding
the draft repeal bill in a secret room away from the public.
Instead of putting their proposal out in the open, after thousands stormed
town halls demanding answers about their health coverage, they want to
keep the details hidden -- to make it harder for any opposition to organize.
We won’t know how damaging it will be until the last minute, which
means we must get resources ready to build enough counter pressure to stop it.

Even Donald Trump admitted “nobody knew health care could be so
complicated.” Yet Republicans continue to recklessly forge ahead
on replacing Obamacare without a thorough process.
They want to bring this bill to the floor as early as next week and bypass
the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office’s review -- and it’s
no wonder why: the CBO gave a terrible forecast for the last GOP health
care proposal, citing millions losing insurance, premiums skyrocketing,
and quality of care diminishing.
No one has that mandate to jeopardize the health coverage of 32 million
people by taking it into their own hands and treating it like a top secret.
So to make sure this plan receives the scrutiny it deserves, we must be
ready to act quickly and push back before Republicans force a vote.
