Politico reported that at a closed-door event, Donald Trump asked a room full of
billionaires to deliver him a
filibuster-proof super-majority Senate in 2018.
Trump even took the time to walk these billionaires through each of the
10 states he won that have Democratic Senators up for re-election next year.
Now, we don’t know exactly how many zeros these mega-donors added
to their donation checks -- or what other events Trump has planned to
go after Senate Democrats.
But we do know that it's up to
this grassroots team to fight back.

It's tough enough to stop Trump's agenda with Republican control
of the House and Senate. But it would be virtually impossible to stop
him if the Republicans reach 60 votes in the Senate next year.
