Today’s my 30th birthday! I’m excited, but I’m also getting
ahead of myself.
Let’s rewind. My name is Meghan, and I’m Rep. Esty’s
finance director. I’m new on the job, so I want to make sure I tell
you a little bit about who I am and how I came to work for Rep. Esty.
But first, can you help us out as we approach our mid-month deadline?
You can help us reach our goal and help me celebrate my 30th birthday by
giving $30 (or whatever you can).
Connecticut is my home. I grew up here in the 5th district and my family
still lives here. I went to college at the University of Connecticut (Go
Huskies!) and then worked in the 5th district after college.
Like everyone I know, I care about my hometown. I want my community to
have opportunity, equality, and access to health care and basic services.
I believe no one is more suited to represent us and fight for the 5th
district than Rep. Esty.
We need more compassionate, level-headed public servants like her in Congress.
We all benefit when the voices of women and mothers are heard in Congress.
Her race in 2018 is personal for me. I don’t want my hometown district
to flip from blue to red. Help make my 30th birthday one for the books
by giving $30, $10, $5, or whatever you can.
Thank you,
Meghan
