STOP THE ATTACKS ON CHOICE

Republicans aren't even waiting for Trump to take office to start attacking women and choice.

Here's the situation: In Ohio, the GOP-controlled state legislature just passed a 20-week abortion ban that Governor Kasich signed into law. And this is the guy who ran as a moderate in the GOP presidential primary?!

And in Texas? A new rule requires women to prepare funeral services if they have a miscarriage or abortion. It's a disgusting attempt to shame women when they're most vulnerable.

Before this year's election, the GOP had held back on some of these bills because they thought they'd get shut down in court. But now they're steamrolling ahead in anticipation of judicial appointments and an anti-choice Supreme Court thanks to Donald Trump's victory.

Donate $3 now to fight back against Republicans' increasing attacks on choice, and replace them with as many pro-choice Democratic women as we can.

If this is what Trump's GOP allies have the nerve to do before he takes office, just imagine how emboldened they'll feel on January 21st.

Fifteen states besides Ohio already have a 20-week abortion ban. There's a very good chance a case against one of them ends up in front of the Supreme Court — which still has an open seat thanks to Senate Republicans' obstruction.

And Texas is ignoring objections from medical groups and women alike on the Republicans' "funeral rule" — it's a purely political act to appease anti-choice groups and shame women. If you wonder where Texas might've gotten this idea, look to Indiana, where Vice President-elect Mike Pence signed a similar bill into law.

These laws and rules are terrifying and offensive. And states like Indiana, Ohio, and Texas are setting a precedent for others around the country.

We can't sit by and let Republicans dictate women's health care decisions. Donate $3 now to replace them with pro-choice Democratic women:
