Trump's outrageous and unqualified pick to lead the Department of
Education. And last night, Senate Democrats forced an all-night session
to fight her confirmation to the very end.
The unified, all-out Democratic response to DeVos's nomination is exactly
the sort of resistance we need from our elected officials in Washington—and
exactly the sort of resistance we need to see for Trump's other cabinet picks.
DeVos and three more of Trump's cabinet picks—Jeff Sessions
for attorney general, Tom Price for secretary of Health and Human Services,
and Steven Mnuchin for secretary of the Treasury—are expected to
be voted on this week.
