Last night, while I was shopping at Macy's Herald Square, I came across this sign at the Godiva shop (located on the 6th floor):
"NEW YORK STATE LAW: Requires that confections containing alcohol must be sold in quantites of at least one-half pound or in a package containing at least 24 pieces."
So, when it comes to chocolates filled with booze, more is better than less? (How does that make sense?)
Seems like a wacky piece of legislation to me.
In any event, please make sure you don't EAT and drive this coming Valentine's Day!
