This administration is moving astonishingly fast to undermine our most deeply held values. But if you’re dreading the months to come, I promise that I will never, ever stop fighting for you.
Here are four issues I’m fighting on in Washington:
- President Trump has told Planned Parenthood it could keep receiving federal funding if it restricted its services. Families deserve access to a full range of reproductive care, and I promise that I’ll fight with everything I have to defend women’s access to affordable health care services.
- Disturbing new reports continue to raise questions about President Trump’s ties to Russia, both during the campaign and since his election. I’ve been calling for a full, independent investigation to get all the facts on the Trump administration and Russia, and I am going to keep speaking out.
- President Trump’s executive order on climate change shows a staggering disregard for human health and for the future we’ll leave our children. This fight isn’t over, and I’m going to do everything I can to preserve our progress against climate change.
- Social Security is a lifeline for millions, providing much-needed financial support after a lifetime of hard work. I’m working to increase benefits for lower-income seniors and shore up this vital program for future generations.
We have so much work ahead of us, and I’m ready to get started. But I’m up for reelection in 2018 – and with Republicans already scheming to strengthen their grip on the Senate, I need your support.
