We want to ask you to do something that will take just a little bit of work, but it will mean a lot to the mayor and this re-election campaign if you do it. Let us explain.
Over the course of the next several months, we want to elevate the stories of the people of New York City whose lives have been positively impacted by the mayor’s agenda and policies. The hope is to share these stories with our fellow New Yorkers on social media and in emails like this.
We want to do this because there is no more important messenger in an election than real people talking about why having a mayor who fights for them is so important. So, what do you say?
On the same page you leave your note, we’re also asking you to upload a picture as well. High resolution if you can. Maybe it’s of you, your family, or a place in the city you love. Hopefully that’s not too tall a request — it should be easy to do from your phone or your computer. Last note: for your privacy, we will only include your first name and borough on anything we share.
The stories of real people will cut through the clutter and serve as a very powerful reminder of why this campaign matters. Thank you for sharing yours.
