Lucas,
Republican strategists see Donald Trump as a liability, and without a
doubt it's impacting other GOP races this year.
Trump's relentless attacks on women, immigrants, Muslims, people with
disabilities, a Gold Star family, and more have finally clued in voters
to how toxic the Republican Party really is. And now some voters in traditionally
red states are looking for an alternative.
That's why Hillary's campaign is spending six figures on ads in
my home state, Arizona — a state that's gone for Republican
presidential candidates in every election but one since 1952.
Investments like that don't just help the top of the ticket. They
also give a boost to our candidates down the ballot like Senate candidate
Ann Kirkpatrick and House incumbent Kyrsten Sinema.
Ready to ramp up our support in traditionally red states? Donate now to
help expand the map and flip more seats in November.
It's not just Arizona that's turning into an opportunity to put
Republicans on the defensive and flip more seats.
Hillary's team is spending in Georgia too. Like Arizona, the state
is becoming more diverse and has a slate of new Democratic leaders. Our
own EMILY's List Rising Star Stacey Abrams is making huge waves as
the House Minority Leader — work that earned her a speaking spot
at the Democratic National Convention.
What's going to make the difference in these states — and other
tight races across the country — is how much we can support our
candidates.
Make sure our women have the resources to turn red seats and red states blue:
