With the day-to-day grind of working to elect Hillary and defeat Donald Trump, we can sometimes forget how historic this election cycle really is.
We are working to elect the First. Woman. President.
This means a lot to me. I worked on Hillary's 2008 election, and I've dedicated much of my professional life to getting our government to better reflect the people it serves.
I know it means a lot to so many people in this community, too. From those who want their daughters to know that they too can be president, to those who grew up hearing about their moms' or grandmothers' fight for the vote, to those itching to run someday themselves (you should! We need more women to run!), we all have a reason to be excited.
