Three of our House candidates are in serious need of a boost right now — and I know this community can deliver for them.
Monica Vernon is running to defeat incumbent Republican Rod Blum in Iowa's First Congressional District. Blum is one of the most vulnerable incumbents in the House, but Monica is down in the polls 38-45 percent with 16 percent of voters undecided. Monica needs the resources to sway those undecided voters her way.
Zephyr Teachout is running for a seat left open after a Republican incumbent retired in New York's 19th Congressional District. Zephyr is just ONE point behind her Republican opponent, former state Assemblyman John Faso, in the polls: 42-43 percent.
Pramila Jayapal is running for Washington State's Seventh Congressional District. She did well in the primaries, but there are many more voters in the general election that Pramila will need to reach before they cast their ballots.

Monica can absolutely win her race. Roll Call has consistently listed Blum as one of the most vulnerable House incumbents, and Monica has been running a campaign highlighting her record of getting things done on the Cedar Rapids City Council. But Blum has a serious cash advantage, and Monica needs to catch up if she's going to finish strong in these last few weeks.
Zephyr's district is a huge pick-up opportunity for Democrats, and it's listed as a toss-up by Cook Political Report. Zephyr is a strong progressive, but she needs our help to win this race.
Pramila has been a leader on immigration policy and voter engagement for years. Her perspective is sorely needed in Congress now, but this isn't an easy race to win. She needs every bit of support we can give her.
