Right now in Colorado, the Democrats are doing everything in their power
to shut me up. Why? Because I'm a black, Christian conservative who
believes in strictly following the constitution, destroying Obamacare,
tearing up the Iran nuclear deal, and ending the flood of criminals streaming
across our southern border.
Democrats are scared, that's for sure. New polling released in the
last few days shows a single digit race with the ultra-liberal incumbent
way under 50%. That's the political death zone.
Colorado is sick of my opponent Michael Bennet's lockstep adherence
to liberal orthodoxy, and they're ready for someone strong, bold,
and ready to lead.
I've written you before, but here is the quick background on me: I
grew up in Colorado. I live and breathe this state. I graduated from the
US Air Force Academy and served my country proudly for 21 years, retiring
as a Lieutenant Colonel. I started a small business, raised two amazing
daughters, and went on to serve my community on the city council and county
commission.
Now, as a veteran, I understand the sacrifices that our men and women
in uniform make, and the families that support them; that's why I
feel called to run.
They need someone strong to stand up for them in the Senate, and I intend
to do that.

Look, the Democrats are trying to remake this country in the image of
bankrupt, liberal European nations. That is not the America I know, and
it's not the one that I served. I'm sick of it.
I know we can stop them, but I need your help.
The reality is that I'm too conservative for the elites in Washington.
They didn't want me to win the primary, they don't want me in
the Senate, and they certainly aren't going to help me now.
But here's the deal: if conservatives don't stand up and rally
behind this cause, then those same Washington insiders will cluck around
the country saying they were right. And we won't have room to complain,
because we didn't fight hard enough.
If we don't pull together, they'll say that this is why we need
to send moderates to the Senate- because conservatives don't have
the strength. I think that's garbage.
