were supposed to be locked out of the House until 2022 at the earliest.
But then came the Trumpocalypse.
New polls show Democrats opening up a big lead in the race for House—potentially big enough to overcome the GOP's unprecedented gerrymandering and return Nancy Pelosi to the speaker's chair. But wait, it gets better. Republicans—already trailing Democrats by seven points in generic ballot polls—drop to a 12-point deficit if they refuse to unendorse Trump. And Republicans who do unendorse him? They drop to a 12-point deficit too. They're Trumped if they do, Trumped if they don't.
