The State of New York City Renewal Schools - Wednesday, November 30th, 12:00pm
Renewal Schools have the potential to change the lives and educational
futures of nearly 40,000 of New York City's most at-risk students.
This event will discuss the successes in Renewal Schools and what must
be done to fulfill the promise of the nation's most ambitious school
improvement initiative. Join Public Advocate James for a forum featuring
experts on our City's education system, educators, and school parents.
Public Advocate James' Pre-Hanukkah Celebration - Monday, December 12th, 5:30pm
Join Public Advocate James for an early Hanukkah reception celebrating
the festival of lights. The celebration will honor a number of leaders
in the Jewish community.
