Lucas,
The Vermont governor's race is close right now, and Sue Minter needs our help.
Sue has outraised her opponent, Lt. Gov. Phil Scott, the last five reporting
periods, but that advantage is getting chipped away — the Republican
Governors Association is dropping $600,000 into the race to support Scott.
And he put up his first general election TV ad last week.
With the new wave of Republican cash, Sue could be in real trouble.
Help Sue fight back against the wall of Republican spending. 100% of your
donation will go directly to her campaign.
Sue has a record of making big strides for Vermont — as deputy secretary
of transportation she helped Vermont rebuild after Tropical Storm Irene
caused catastrophic flooding. And as a state representative she sponsored
and passed over 200 bills and resolutions that became law.
Sue's got a great record to be the next governor of Vermont, but this
race will be close.
Cook Political Report rates it as a toss-up. And while it's tempting to think of Vermont
as a reliably blue state, four of their last eight governors have been
Republicans.
With days before Election Day, there's no time to waste. Donate $3
to help Sue fight back now — 100% of your donation will go directly
