Brigitte Gabriel Officially Knighted
We are elated to inform you of a very special event that took place last
week for our organization. Our very own Founder and President Brigitte
Gabriel, was officially Knighted for her international work on fighting
terrorism and standing up for Western Judeo-Christian Values.
She joins a long list of prominent Knights, including former Presidents
Ronald Reagan and George H. W Bush, Former British PM Tony Blaire, Former
President of South Africa Nelson Mandela, Former Secretary of State Henry
Kissinger, Frank Sinatra and others.
This Solemn International Investiture of the Knights of Malta took place
at the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem,
in the old city of Rhodes island, Greece.
This same ceremony has been taking place for almost 1,000 years, originating
with the Knights who fought so valiantly against their Islamic invaders.
Of this unequivocally distinguished honor, Brigitte noted:
“To be tapped with that sword in the same place where so many heroes
have bled and died defending Judeo-Christian values was a humbling experience.
Anti-Christian hatred and anti-Semitism are on the rise at the highest
levels of national and international governments, secular media, educational,
and legal systems. Now more than ever, we need to stand up in defense
of our cherished values. I’m truly honored to have received this
distinction, and could never have done so without the love and support
from my family and organization.”
This achievement by our Founder and President proves once again, how ACT
for America stands alone in both our influence and recognition.
As many know, Brigitte spent most of her childhood in Lebanon hiding defenselessly
from radical Islamists seeking to kill her and her family. As evidenced
by this recent Knighthood, she is no longer hiding, nor defenseless.
To think of how far Brigitte has come from living in a bomb shelter as
a young girl, to creating America’s largest grassroots national
security advocacy organization, all the way to Knighthood is inspiring
beyond words.
Whenever you think you’re too small to make a difference, remember
Brigitte’s story. If we all do our part to defend this amazing country
of ours and the Judeo- Christian values it was founded upon, our enemies
won’t stand a chance.
