As an officer in the U.S. Army, I served our nation in combat. I’ve seen the immeasurable costs of war firsthand, and I don’t believe our nation’s leadership should recklessly rush into combat in nations halfway across the world.
Yet Donald Trump has shown a stunning lack of understanding in foreign policy and has proposed dangerous actions for our nation--and he has Elise Stefanik's stamp of approval. He has questioned the strength of our most central alliances, such as NATO, and has taken weak stances on issues such as nuclear proliferation, going so far as to entertain the idea of Saudi Arabia obtaining nuclear weapons.
Our representative in Congress should stand for America’s safety and security over Party politics.
