THANK A HONEYBEE

Lucas,

Did you enjoy a cup of coffee or piece of fruit at breakfast today? Thank a honeybee.

Bees are indispensable pollinators. Their hard work keeps our grocery stores filled with produce and contributes $15 billion to the U.S. economy. But since 2006, beekeepers have seen dramatic losses of honeybee colonies – to the tune of 29% ANNUALLY.

Bees are dying at an unsustainable rate, and that’s not just bad news for agriculture: It harms our economy and our environment. I’m working to bring together a coalition of environmental organizations, members of Congress and individuals who care about this issue, and I need you to join us.

Will you add your name to call on the Environmental Protection Agency and the USDA to protect honeybees?

Click here to urge the EPA to do more to protect bees!

This isn’t an issue that gets a lot of time in the spotlight, but it’s important to all of us. Thanks for standing with me.
