Atlah Church has long preached racist, homophobic bigotry with its sign
on Lenox Ave and 123rd St. We cannot tolerate hate speech in our community
and Keith Wright has long stood against their grossly offensive signs.
And now, Atlah Church is launching a baseless personal attack against Keith.
Stand with Keith and say no to hate in Harlem!
This isn't just about Keith: this is about all of us. We're bringing
the diverse communities of Upper Manhattan and the Bronx together and
that demands inclusiveness and respect for everyone. Those are the values
that Keith Wright embodies--it's why he earned the endorsements of
Assemblyman Danny O'Donnell and the Stonewall Democratic Club. Keith
has spent his entire life fighting for against discrimination and intolerance.
Let's all come together as one to denounce divisive hate speech.
We can't be complacent about hate. Whether the hate speech is against
LGBT people or anyone else, it has no place in Harlem and in our country.
Keith will keep leading the fight for justice and acceptance and we all
need to be part of that.
