Today, women in the workforce make 79 cents on the dollar compared to
man doing the same job. It's embarrassing that this disparity still
exists -- it's 2016, not 1950.
We need Congress to step up and work to close the pay gap. If we remain
silent, we will never be able to achieve progress.
That's why I'm joining Democrats across the country in raising
our voices in support of equal pay for equal work. Please join me and
raise your voice as well.

The Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act recently had its seven-year anniversary.
Although the act made progress towards ending pay discrimination, there's
still much work to do.
The pay gap impacts families right here in the Southern Tier, Western
New York, and the Finger Lakes region. Many families in our district struggle
to make ends meet. Pay inequality only makes it harder to put food on
the table and a roof over their heads.
That's why we need to step up and fight for equal pay for equal work.
Please, join me in this fight!
Add your name today and stand with Democrats to fight for equal pay for
equal work.
Thanks for standing with me,
