We see almost 33,000 gun deaths per year in our country. Gun violence affects people in every neighborhood, of every race, at every income level. It must end. We need action.
For too long the NRA has blocked the path to reducing gun violence. What was once a hobby group for sportsman has turned into a lobbying machine, holding our country back from creating common sense reforms that make us all safer. That’s why President Obama has taken a stand against the gun lobby. We’re proud to stand by him.
The President’s actions are necessary steps that make us all safer. Fighting gun trafficking and making sure that people who are in the business of selling firearms have a license to do so lowers the number of illegal guns in our communities and will reduce gun violence. We need to show the President that we support his actions.
It’s time to take a stand. Together, we can end gun violence.
