In accordance with the Bylaws, a Nominating Committee was selected from
the members of the Board of Directors at the January 2016 meeting: Joseph
P. Awad, Helene E. Blank, Jeffrey B. Bloom, Shoshana T. Bookson, Martin
W. Edelman, David B. Golomb, Michael E. Jaffe, Leslie Kelmachter, Jeffrey
S. Korek, Michael Levine, Jeffrey A. Lichtman, Nicholas Papain, Josh Silber,
Nicholas I. Timko and Evan Goldberg as President of the Association acting
as its chair pursuant to Article XVI, Section 1 of the Bylaws of the New
York State Trial Lawyers Association.
Pursuant to NYSTLA’s Bylaws, Edward Gersowitz automatically assumes
the office of President and Evan Goldberg assumes the office of Immediate
Past President.
The Nominating Committee has reported that their work has been completed
and these members are recommended for the following positions:
