Since their wave of victories in 2010, Republicans have been relentlessly attacking women and our right to choose if and when we start families. 288 state abortion restrictions were enacted between 2011 and 2015. That's more than a quarter of the 1,074 that have passed since Roe v. Wade — which turns 43 today.
Since taking control of both the House and Senate in 2015, Republicans have voted for a national abortion ban twice and to defund Planned Parenthood an astounding 10 times.
This is what we get from Republican leadership. It's why we're laser-focused on electing Hillary Clinton to the White House, taking back the Senate, and flipping key state legislatures this year.
